A Strong Community Showing
This year’s Coldest Night of the Year event in Chilliwack was a huge success, and we at improvingit were proud to be the lead sponsor. Despite the rain and cold, the community came out in full support to raise money for an important cause. The funds raised will go a long way in helping continue the vital work being done for those in need in our area.
About the Coldest Night of the Year Event
The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is an annual nationwide walk held across Canada. This event takes place in cities and towns across the country to raise funds for local charities supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and hunger. The walk takes place on one of the coldest nights of the year to remind participants of the challenges that many face every day. Funds raised help local programs continue their work and offer vital support to those who need it most.
More Sponsors Than Ever
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the incredible number of sponsors. Ann Davis Transition Society had more sponsors than ever before, and this helped make the event even more special. We are so happy to be a part of such a wonderful community. Thanks to everyone who stoped at our booth for a chat, it was great to meet you all!
Generosity Shines Through
For the first time ever, Ann Davis Society didn’t have to buy pizzas for the event participants- every pizza was donated! This generous gesture allowed them to focus on what really matters: raising funds and awareness for those who rely on the services provided by the funds raised at the event.
Walkers Push Through the Weather
Despite the rainy weather, the walkers showed up and completed the walk in record time! Their determination and energy were truly inspiring. It’s clear that the people of Chilliwack are committed to supporting those in need, no matter the conditions.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Chilliwack
We want to extend our deepest thanks to the Chilliwack community. Your generosity and support made this event a success, and because of you, Ann Davis Transition Society will be able to continue helping those in need. The funds raised will help provide shelter, meals, and other services for those facing tough times.
Looking Ahead
This year’s Coldest Night of the Year was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year. Together, we can continue to make a real difference in our community. Thank you to everyone who came out to support, and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
