We are improvingit
At improvingit, we’re more than IT experts. We’re long-term partners to the businesses we support. Our role is to make technology reliable, secure, and predictable, so your organization can focus on what matters most.
We’re here when things go wrong, but more importantly, we work proactively to prevent issues before they disrupt your team. Based in Chilliwack, improvingit supports businesses across the Fraser Valley and throughout Canada with managed IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
A Legacy of Excellence, A Clearer Identity
Formerly Kerkhoff Technologies Inc., improvingit represents an evolution of our brand, not a change in our values. Our commitment to innovation, problem-solving, and dependable IT support remains the same. The name improvingit simply reflects what we’ve always done: continuously improve how technology supports our clients.

What We Are About
Unlocking Potential
We believe that everyone, and every organization has potential to succeed, when given the tools and training to do so. By engaging in our community, professionally, socially, and charitably we can build trust and unlock the potential of everyone.
Here's the thing: IT doesn't have to be a necessary evil. When done right, it can be your secret weapon! If you want your organization to grow, your IT should be working with you, not against you
In fact, that is why we changed our name. The time had come for a change to something that better spoke to who we are as a company, so we thought long and hard on how we could more accurately put our core values front and centre, (and that wasn't already taken). At its core, that is what we do. We use technology, process, your experience (and ours) to make everything better, improving it a little every day.

What Else Are We About
Build Trust: Through Community
Building trust through community means asking thoughtful questions, listening well, and following through on what we commit to. We show our value by maintaining that trust, even after formal relationships end. We also give back through donations and our time to help our community thrive.
Better Today Than Yesterday
Striving to be better today than yesterday means continually improving our skills and mindset, gaining experience, and strengthening our clients’ organizations. We share what we learn to help others streamline and improve their processes so we can all grow together.
Lean Into Challenges
Leaning into challenges means seeking new perspectives and drawing on the experience and wisdom of others. We’re willing to try, fail, and keep going, tackling challenges step by step and working alongside our clients to solve what seems impossible.
Look At The Bigger Picture
Looking at the bigger picture means delivering solutions that are effective without being overcomplicated or falling short. We think pragmatically, consider the full picture, and stay focused on the mission. Even when we don’t have all the answers, we work through them.

Our Office in Chilliwack
Like many businesses, we moved to a fully remote workplace over COVID. We found this helped us expand by building a workforce and the tools needed to make this work successfully. We were able to bring on skilled staff from all over Canada. Post lockdown, we moved offices to a space that was perfect for our new way of operating. To this day we have a hybrid workforce, with some staff in the office, some remote and some hybrid.
